B.Davis-T.Warner

The Old Editions Bookshop Open was won with a perfect 4-0 score by Local Expert Barry Davis quotes by B. Davis "There are five basic elements involved with any chess position, we will call these the fabulous five. King safety, material, space, time and pawn structure. These are weighted values which are important to any chess position and you can use these as guidelines to validate your decisions". This game played by the tournament winner clearly illustrates the use of the elements time, space, and pawn structure.
